AUTOMAC FOR ZOOM

Automac for Zoom

Last updated

Automac is a personal AI assistant that works for you on your own Mac. Connecting Zoom lets Automac answer questions about your meetings and include meeting context in your briefings, using your Zoom meeting summaries, recordings, transcripts, Zoom Docs and Zoom Hub files.

Adding Zoom

  1. Ask your Automac team to connect Zoom, during setup or any time after.

  2. We set it up for you. You only sign in to your own Zoom account once and click Allow to approve Automac. We can do this together on a short screen-sharing call.

  3. Once approved, Zoom is connected. There is nothing else for you to install or configure.

Using Zoom with Automac

  • Ask about your meetings in your Automac chat, for example: "What did we decide in yesterday's call with Sam?" or "What were the action items from my last meeting?"

  • Your morning and evening briefings can include context from recent meetings.

  • Saving to Zoom (for example, saving a meeting recap as a Zoom Doc or Hub file) is off by default. Ask your Automac team to turn it on, and choose whether you approve each one first or let it happen automatically.

  • Automac works best when Zoom AI Companion meeting summaries or cloud recordings are turned on in your Zoom account.

Removing Zoom

  1. Ask your Automac team to disconnect Zoom at any time. We remove Automac's Zoom sign-in from your Mac.

  2. You can also remove Automac yourself at any time: sign in at marketplace.zoom.us, open Manage, then Added Apps, find Automac and click Remove. This immediately ends Automac's access to your Zoom account.

Automac does not store your Zoom data on its servers, so there is nothing else to delete.
